Apartment Communities
Kenney Properties builds fresh and modern apartments for today's
fast-paced living. We developed Brookefield, Gresham Park and Trellis
Pointe as luxury, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments for families
and young professionals. Our designers created spacious kitchens,
walk-in closets and expansive lighting schemes that give our apartments
a comfortable feel.
We believe our apartment home residents deserve the finest amenities.
Our developments include pools, fitness facilities, meeting areas,
playgrounds, lots of open space and even golf putting greens.
Neighborhoods
Our goal with each subdivision is to build a community where families
can live safely and happily. We create neighborhoods for families
and often include playgrounds, parks, nature trails, tennis courts
and swimming pools. We design our streets to provide spaces for
children to play and families to meet and know each other. We often
donate land to cities and towns to create nature trails and parks.
Other Ventures
Kenney Properties develops land to fit a community's needs. Developing
commercial and residential areas gives Kenney Properties the ability
to help neighborhoods locate services they need and want. The Town
Center Shopping Center and Wendy’s restaurant are examples
of this company’s commitment to creating communities with a
rich quality of life.
Awards
Kenney Properties and its communities have received numerous awards
for its progressive design, environmental stewardship, and the overall
livability in its neighborhoods. Among the most notable is the MAME
Grand Award for the Outstanding Residential Community in Wake County
and multiple Gold and Silver Awards in the Parade of Homes.
Kenney has also received the 1993 Developer of the Year Award for
the Wake, Durham, and Orange Counties Homebuilder's Association.
In addition, Kenney was a founding sponsor of the Raleigh inner-city
tennis program, was selected to chair the 1998 Road Bond Campaign
and served on the Board of Directors for the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
